Summers at HBCU: Annual on-campus summer experiences for rising juniors.

Community and Campus Integration: Participants will have the opportunity to live on campus, fostering early connections with peers and faculty, and gaining familiarity with campus resources and the university environment.

Accelerated Academic Progress:

DSU will provide dual learning modes: The program combines five weeks of on-campus residential learning (at the end of June 24- the end of July) with two weeks of remote/hybrid learning (at the end of July -beginning of August), providing flexibility and a comprehensive educational experience.

Selected students will have the opportunity to visit HBCUs during the summer to participate in a range of enriching academic and cultural experiences.

DSU will design the program for incoming freshmen with less than 30 credits, to help students get a head start on their college journey, easing the transition from high school and integrating them into the campus community.
