Annual opportunity for selected juniors at abroad campuses (with NYCPS staff)

Partnership with NYCPS faculty will take selected juniors to a cultural visit to one of their designated international campuses to engage in academic coursework

During the cultural visits faculty in partnership with NYCPS staff will engage in the following:

Cultural Immersion Activities:

Engage in local cultural activities such as traditional cooking classes, folk music and dance workshops, visits to historical landmarks, and participation in local festivals to deepen students' understanding of the host country's culture.

Educational Excursions:

Visits to universities, museums, art galleries, and cultural centers where students can attend lectures, interact with local students and professors, and learn about the host country's history, art, and scientific advancements.

Language Learning Opportunities:

Language classes and practice sessions with native speakers to enhance students' language skills, including conversational practice, cultural nuances, and formal language instruction.

Community Engagement and Service:

Community service projects and volunteer activities that promote social responsibility and allow them to give back to the local community, fostering global citizenship and cross-cultural empathy.
